Prescott, Arizona's Christmas City

Prescott, Arizona’s Christmas City

Prescott hosted its 32nd Annual Christmas Parade today on a cold but clear day. This year’s theme, “150 Years of Christmas Memories,” celebrates the city’s sesquicentennial. Twenty-five years ago Arizona Governor Rose Mofford recognized Prescott as Arizona’s Christmas City. This year’s parade included about 88 entries: area politicians and bands; classic cars, trucks, and firetrucks; church and company floats; pioneer costumes; different dog breeds; and Santa on the final float. Merry Christmas!
