Attending my first Ohio State football game was quite an experience.  The clear blue sky and moderate temperature created perfect conditions for enjoying the day.  I had no idea to what lengths “real tailgaters” prepare for game day.  The flat screen TVs and sound systems were unexpected outside buses and motor homes adorned in scarlet and gray.  My introduction to tailgating also included a live band, Swarm.  I was impressed with the lack of congestion entering and leaving the Ohio stadium.  Although more than 100,000 people participated in this ritual event, it felt intimate.  Our seats in the south end had a great view of the game.  Oh, and Ohio State won 35-7.
